Starting Problems in 1985 Nissan Pickup

I have a 1985 Nissan 720 pickup with 2.4 NAPZ motor and the starter started dragging so had it bench tested and it was gone. So replaced it yesterday and it started great until the engine got hot (not overheating)and now its dragging again. Anyone know what could be the problem? Ignition coils? Engine ground? Distribitor cap? Any help is greatly appreciated.
