Solid Beep Sound in Toyota 2007 Highlander

2007 Toyota Highlander
245000 miles
When the door opens it makes a high pitched solid beep that will stop shortly. Then when we start the car it also makes that sound and continues while we drive. No new warning lights are on. It is a solid high pitched beep. Any ideas? Drives ok. The brakes seem to be a little tougher to push but work fine.

245K, here we go with insane miles/use vehicles. Just a thought is what WAS the seat belt NOT fastened warning sound AND probably a light? Either you are not using it is not my biz nor defeated it for driver probably, most used seat usually has worn out sensors?
Ditto with Hammer also, what other lights you said nothing new suggests you've ignored another or more for a while.
Side note that warning chimes, buzzers and sounds for warning do wear out if on all the time the high pitched ones hard to find while doing it some vehicles have to even fix them,

I know very little. the exlcamation point light is on. and the ABS light and the BRAKE light.
Bought the car 3 months ago with all 3 lights on. Owner said he had it checked out and said all they could determine was some sensor was getting old.

Still makes a different sound if we don't have the seatbelt on. Then you get 2 different extremely pleasant beeping sounds.

ABS should shut up I think in most vehicles. A real brake warning as indicated by the "exclamation" symbol if amber may wait but not long and annoy you to tend to it. Automotive warnings by color is a little bit standard. RED means NOW, don't drive like this! Amber means real soon.
Blinking of these mean RIGHT NOW AND OR DOING DAMAGE OR AT GREAT RISK.
That light with exclamation is for brake things. ABS shouldn't freak out but means they will not work as intended.
These things are listed in owner's manuals AKA operator's manuals for the exact one vehicle. If not in it look it up with your VIN# you can see what it should be.
In short you have a brake problem you can't ignore anymore. Exactly what is going to take combo of code readings and inspection for why then the fix can be known.
Parking brake system may not be used much but was and didn't release fully would be another reason on the list could and would make brakes feel lousy so there you go but tend to them all at least find out why this one is just one guess for one,

I thought more not even watching in here. It would very likely be a parking brake issue. Partly on you would get a light or should normally. If it couldn't release brake would drag and feel lousy - said that already.
The heat would go nuts too hot bring on more even wipe out ABS for now or confuse it.
It's probably viewable thru many wheels you could see color of brake rotor (rears) show different one side vs the other. Could but usually picks on one first if sticky or stuck.
This warning is very real as you complained and if way too hot brake fluid boils and you lose braking force big time so it is an emergency to find out and fix exactly what the cause is.
Added suggestion is if an item is found on one side do both as brakes really should be done equally to both side anything you do or have done unless giving up on a vehicle for one last run to junk it maybe.
Good luck - should be doable and fixable it's not that old by age but any rust or miles bring on the odd ball things I would put in that without seeing overall situation,
