Sign In Would the turn signal being used, or the stepping on the brakes, or the use of my power windows, causing my radio to cut in and out be a sign of a bad alternator? Also the Trooper has struggled twice, days apart, with its first start of the day. And one more thing, twice the Trooper just cut off, once after I put it into drive as I started to accelerate after its first start of the day, and another after coming home from golf, as I was slowing down to come to a stop. Sign In With any electrical problems you always want to make sure you have a good battery (get it tested) & clean connections.
