This is a picture of the piece I broke. http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/61/broke2mz2.jpg Its a 95 Ford Taurus, and it's the rear left wheel. I know almost nothing of cars, so I need your help. Long story short, car broke, it's something around the shock tower. Couple questions. 1. What is the name of the piece I broke? 2. What is the cost of that piece? 3. Do I need professional install? (I am a do it yourselfer and can get a jack and jack stands and fix it myself as long as its not too hard.) 4. Is the bottom piece that it mounts too probably damaged as well because of driving on it with no knowledge of it being broke in the first place? Just trying to keep it short and sweet. I'll be checking back here at 2 PM when I wake up to see responses. Thanks to whoever posts in advance. You can buy the replacement from most any auto part supplier or a dealer. They are sold as a kit that comes with the shaft washers and rubber bushings. The cost is around thirty bucks and as you say you’re handy doing some automotive things; you won’t have a problem replacing the link kit. Once you have the replacement part; it’ll be quite clear as to what you have to do. Dan.
