1996 Saturn SL. 1.9L/SOHC, 100,000miles.
Service engine light on, flashing. OBD says mis-fire #1 cylinder. Installed new plugs and plug wires. Still missing. Any ideas?

Could be bad fuel injector or a compression problem.

Re: Saturn mis-fire Sign In

Spray some carb cleaner where #1 intake runner bolts to the head, if the idle changes you have a bad intake gasket, a common problem on the SOHV engines.
