2008 Saturn Vue Red Line, w/V6, four-door, 110K miles The rear window wiper and pump simply quit working about 6 months ago. When I press the button to activate, nothing happens. Do I need to simply replace a fuse(s) or do I need to replace the motor/pump?

Don't make me guess as there will be 5 different types of rear hatch/door on this. If nothing is working in the door check routing of wiring to it. Either hidden in a harness or buttons that touch each other only when closed that type can lose contact of any or a main ground and no lights, locks or electrical in that door would work. Two thing don't work now so would be looking for the common for both which is it lacks ground, T

Howdy...and thanks for the information. I do know the dash light indicating the rear door is ajar comes on when the door is not shut tight. Would that indicate that it is not an electrical problem at all or do I still check the fuses?

It would probably be easier to make all your electrical checks at the rear wiper module itself. You'll need a volt meter and/or 12 volt test light along with the wiring schematic to troubleshoot this properly. You'll need to remove the lift gate interior trim panel to get access to the wiper module connector. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
