Moved this whole thread to be on its own. Please make your own thread not hijack another that seems like yours in the future as needed.

Yours is a whole differert model year and other thread going on 4 YEARS old so again, please start your own.

First, this us mostly a N. American site where this cars isn't sold so limited info for it.
I'll interpret the question as to where the fuel filter is and how to find it.

General: Most pumps would be in fuel tank on to engine. Filter could be anywhere in that system or line (pressure ones) or right at fuel pump itself requiring removal? Can't know. That plate/black box near rear wheel well could be housing something, a place to cover a filter or access to fuel tank possible - really can't know.

What to do?: First - see if a local parts outlet has exactly what you want at all. I might just go there and look at it new for clues on how it's fastened in and some parts outlets may have info on installation instructions including releasing fuel pressure on the system.

If nothing for local exact info or this is very involved to replace probably best to have it done. Some just might require removing fuel tank which alone can be difficult for the average DIY person and worth just having this done for you and tend to things you can handle.

No harm meant - but if you have to ask where a fuel filter is at all never mind how it probably isn't for you without watching it done or getting help. Perhaps a YouTube type video is out there on this that would convince you to proceed or let the job go out to do.

A maybe is if VERY costly part it just might be part of the fuel pump with assorted suggestions listed as to when and if it should be serviced at all or some total replacement?

Good luck. Hard to know this from here,

T

I would say you could pick up a service manual and/or call a shop or dealer in your area to find out where it is located. More than likely it is going to be inside the tank. Most newer cars are using lifetime fuel filters now. The black box could be the charcoal canister, but that is a wild guess.
