depending on the size of the hole in the raditor.... and presuming it will fix the car until you get home.

We have heard that putting some black pepper (powder form) in the radiator will block the hole for awhile. How far it will go I'm not sure but it has done its job.

Also a raw egg will stop a small leak.... (fact from Myth Busters...) But the black pepper will hold up a bit longer.

Find a diner and ask them for some black pepper from a shaker. And put it directly into the cars radiator not the reserve tank.

Here you go! You need to know if you have spark and fuel. The stop-leak I like best is from Napa and made by Macs but is just to get you home then flush it all out. Only use about 1/3 of the bottle but the car needs to run first.

The overheat could have messed up the module on the side of the distrubutor or who knows what? Carry water with you and keep it full for the run home. Plain water cools better and you simply will have to fix the radiator or replace it.

Don't forget to get anti-freeze back to proper amount when all is fixed, T

did you originally stop the car or did it stop itself?
