Problems removing starter
|

I have a 1996 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight and I am trying to replace my starter. When I go to take the old starter off my car there is something blocking the way to take off the starter. Like some type off housing that is holding it in that expands into the fly wheel. Does anyone know what is blocking me from removing the starter?
Here is a link to Photobucket with a few pics of my starter hopefully someone knows what this is and how I can remove it.
