HELLO I HAVE A 1994 MUSTANG WITH A 5.0 LITER VIN T THAT HAS NO SPARK I REPLACED THE TFI MODULE STILL NO SPARK AT THE COIL IT RANDOMLLY FIRES UP AND HAS SPARK BUT STALLS AFTER A WHILE

blazin; Check the coil wire at the distributor end and at the coil end. Look for 'whiteish' corrosion. It is very common. Too much resistance in the wires can damage the module. Also, check the inside of the cap for moisture and carbon tracking. Loren SW Washington

If you find the coil wire is ok, you will need to install a noid light into one of the fuel injector connectors. Crank the engine over. If the noid light does not flash, replace pickup inside distributor. If the noid light flashes, try a new coil. Reason: We know you have no spark. If you also have no injector pulse, suspect a missing tach signal. That is the signal produced by the pickup. If you have injector pulse, check the coil. You may also have a burned rotor or a bad cap. Steve
