Rear lamp failure, all lights working as advertised, left rear tailight sockets corroded?

Coolant sensor bad, replaced sensor but locking feature on connector broken?

If the "lamp out" indicator is on, then there is a light out somewhere. It could be in the front or even one of the side markers but there is one not working somewhere or you could have the wrong bulb in one of them. You can't use the type of bulb with a brass base. It has to use the silver type.

Don't forget to check the 3rd brk light & the plate lights. Those are commonly overlooked.

Re: On board diagnostic center Sign In

Thank you, all lights are working, but the left rear sockets are corroded which I think may be causing a bad connection. They were inexpensive so I will swap them out and see if it will correct the problem. All the lights work and it is the brake light on board computer monitoring system that displays "rear lamp failure" as soon as you step on the brakes, but they light up. They may be tempermental to low voltage due to corrosion. Thanks againSmile
