Oil Change Sign In

I plan to let my car sit for 6 months before driving it. Should I change the oil before I park it?

Re: Oil Change Sign In

streetcar; If the oil is dirty, I'd suggest changing it. I always change the oil in my lawn equipment, as I did my boat, at the end of the season. Something about contaminants in the oil...okay, I'm gullible. Smile But, then when the time came to use them, they were ready to go!

Agree: Rule of thumb as long as I've known is the acids in the used oil COULD cause issues. It's always been suggested for seasonal stuff to change before storage TMK,
