Sign In I have a 1998 Grand Cherokee that has died on me. I have no spark. I changed the fuel pump and ignition coil. Did fuel pump before realizing no spark. I was going to buy this list of possible problem parts, but I am not wealthy. I bought a scanner instead. It is not throwing any codes at all...I even unplugged a spark plug and the distributor, still no codes. I am returning scanner. Anyone out there feel merciful? Sign In Check for fuel injector pulse with a noid light (which is a cheap tool) and see what you get. No injector pulse and no spark at the same time points to a crank position sensor. They were known to go out on these. Don't just throw parts at it. You'll only drain your bank account. The cheapest fix is the confirmed diagnosis.
