Hi.
I bought a second hand Primera 2.2dc SE today and when I got it there was just under 1/4 of fuel and the warning light in the main console with the dials was on - which seemed fairly normal to me.
I drove away and went to the nearest petrol station and filled up and the light stayed on! :(
The car reported a fill tank of diesel, the trip computer confirmed it had around 390 miles of fuel in it.
Why would the light be on? Is this a common problem and something which is easy to fix as it is very distracting - especially during the 150 mile drive home...
Any ideas would be appreciated.
