Hi Friends ,
Greetings for the day,
I Have purchased Yaris Sedan 2008 (at 65k Kms) as my first car before 6 months back,
At 70k kms I have got it serviced as followed :-
* Engine Oil Brand name was = CALTEX 1 lts (Texamatic 1888 (automatic transmission fluid) attached is the image as well,
* Oil Filter Changing
* Air Filter
* Gear Oil Manual
* Radiator Water
Kindly advice now at 75k kms I have to replace engine oil, some one advice me to use mobil 5W-30 synthetic oil but here in UAE this brand is not available, pls suggest :-
* Can I use Mobil 10W 40 (for 10k kms, which is semi-synthetic)
* New Oil Filer + Air Filters are required
* Gear Oil required as well,
Also advice what all i need to replace/fill at each 5000 kms service..
i am sorry for the long story....

I might matter where the original country of origin the car was made to meet standards of. If sold new to UAE than I suggest having it serviced at a new car dealer.
Generally mechanics will suggest periodic maintenance at 3 months or 3,000 miles or 5,000 Kms (same) as listed in owner's manual usually and I would think if anything like elsewhere this car is exposed to what would be called extremes which just means higher or lower temps, many short trips, dust or dirt or trailer towing among things.
Possible but hard to believe it must have synthetic oil but if required do use it by the ratings and viscosity suggested.
It can't say just "water" for cooling system even if it would never see freezing conditions! It must have a coolant that protects against corrosion of metals inside engine and the system.
Without knowing exactly what is available to you I suggest you let a new car dealer of this car do all the service and replace any filters suggested, tires checked for wear and pressure plus rotated as suggested as well.
If trouble I'll make further guesses or try to interpret classifications of oil specifications. Here products state they meet new car specifications on containers as determined by "Society of Automotive Engineers" (SAE) and "American Petrolem Institute" (API) and a letter designation that may be unique to here?
Ask away if that isn't enough and I'll try to find more,

I would advise you to get a service manual for your motorcar. Follow their recommendations for oil type and viscosity for different seasons . The brand name is not that important,so long as they meet the mfg requirments.
