96 Mazda 323 astina

Hi all, I need some advice-
The headlights have stopped working. The parker lights do work, but low beam and high beam don't. Furthermore, the high beam symbol on the dash doesn't come on (if it's only broken bulbs, would the indicator still come on?).
I've checked the fuse and it's not blown. Is it the relay or a switch problem or something worse? I'm reading up on how to check a relay at the moment as I've never done this before.

I don't think a version of this car is sold to the US but same suggestions. Seems like a ground wire or strap up front lost contact with body metal,
