Lock won't budge in 2011 Honda Pilot Sign In

This is my first post and I wish it was about how awesome my car is but I miss my 2007 pilot really. Have a 2011 Honda Pilot now. The door is stuck on lock on the passenger side and won't open either by remote or manually. But the door is not locked despite being on lock. It does seem to be closed ok no indicator there. Naturally my extended warranty ended last month. My husband was in a huge rush so didn't have a long time to inspect it thoroughly but we couldn't open the door manually or by remote and again, it was unlocked despite being in the locked position. The only hint of this issue happened yesterday when I locked the door manually but it wasn't locked then I hit the remote lock and it was ok. But it was weird. Now it's weirder. I know the crv's had some lock issues. Don't know about the pilot. There's about 70k miles on the car. This stinks because even though I don't have bars of gold to leave in the car I'd like to be able to leave bars of gold in the car. Any advice or input would be appreciated big time. Thanks!

You have some sort of issue with the latch or the lock actuator and you aren't going to know what until somebody removes the door panel and inspects the mechanism.

As HT already said....You are going to have to get in there and see what going on (get the 411)

Re: Lock won't budge in 2011 Honda Pilot Sign In

Thx for the replies! It looks like a job to take off the inside of the door to check. Just wondering why my lock would go but someone has to get unlucky.
About the gold I was making a joke or trying! It's weird not being able to lock the door. Not that anyone wants to carjack my Honda Pilot but I'm one of those people who double checks locks. The dealership said it's the actuator. I have to wait for the part. I'm kind of sorry I took it there bc I'm thinking there's like a 30% markup and my Hondacare ran out last month of course. Is there anything you'd recommend using the dealership for other than you know, buying the car?
