The car seems to have issues with he engine. As of recent it notified me woth the check engine light. The car would simply go idle when the car would be accelerating. I noticed that during accelerating the car seems to attempt to go idle and then I would quickly decrease the acceleration to avoid that. I took the car to pepboys but recently the check engine light has gone away. I can't reproduce the idling anymore for some reason, but it does seem to falter all the time.
The ABS issue I'LL have TO straighten at another time, unless they are related problems But the ABS light has come on. I've noticed that when I push down on the brakes I hear air being released. Some times the traction light comes on and without it the brakes harden and I cant apply them, but if I do a restart I can get the traction to come back on.

?? Start with a good code reading even if light isn't on at the moment there's probably some info stored that could help. The stiff brake pedal is suggestive of a bad master cylinder, brake hose or if this uses vacuum brake booster it could be leaking and that would account for noise you hear which surprises me in this type of car and would say NOT normal to hear that,
