KIA Sephia Door Latch

A friend tried to open the passenger door from the outside as I tried to open it from the inside. Now I can't get the door open to get to the door panel.
Any suggestions?
HELP!!!

Arggh! Don't you hate that? Keep trying it may free up. If it does spray the daylights out of me mechanisms with something like WD-40. If all fails I think the auto body shops are good at this with minimal damage. If the door has a child safelty "on or off" thing in the jam make sure when you get it open that it is solidly where you want it and not half way. Good luck, these things can be a real pest!! - T
