Instrument cluster Sign In

I have a 1990 ford thunderbird 3.8 base vehicle and i think the instrument cluster stopped working. The temperature gauge stays down on cold and fuel gauge stays on empty even though I put gas in the vehicle. The speedometer and tachometer no longer work. Do i need to replace the whole instrument cluster or is it a fuse or a switch. Please help.

Re: Instrument cluster Sign In

Probably good idea to check the cluster fuse (10 amp) in the primary junction block first. Use a 12v test lamp or volt meter to make sure you have power at the fuse on both sides of the fuse with the ignition in the run position.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
