Instrument Cluster Problem

Hi all,
New guy here. Heard good things about this forum so decided to become a member today. Mechanic for 10 years and hoping someone here can help me. Customer brought me his car. 2002 Honda DX. Last night while driving suddenly and without warning he lost all illumination on the instrument cluster. The gauges themselves work, but the illumination doesn't. Specifically not lighting up are the speedometer, tach, fuel gauge, and water temperature gauge, but like I said the just mentioned gauges still work. They just don't light up at night so you can't see them. Now this is the wierd thing (THE ODOMETER LIGHTS UP). Checked the fuses in the fuses box under the dash and none are blown. Checked the power distribution box under the hood. Inside that box are more fuses, relays, fusible links, and master fuses. Checked all them and all are good. What am I missing here? Are there any other relays or modules under the dash or behind the passenger side and driver side kick panels? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank You.

Maye the dimmer switch is bad. Thants about what i could think of right now.

Thanks for such a quick response Mr Scotty. I would go along withe the dimmer approach, but like I said the odometer lights up. Furthermore (and I just checked it again) I'm able to (DIM) the odometer light with the dimmer switch

OK ladies
Lock and Load
Full Metal Jacket
And Get On The Bus.
Cluster is fixed.
Gave it the old wire harness”Jiggle Test”
Test revealed a resistance issue.
Found the problem with a “Tone Generator”

Good job in finding that. Just takes a little persistence and a lot of patience.
Closing thread due to concern being solved.
