Inline Fuel Filter

I have a inline fuel filter that has pressure type fittings. I want to replace the filter. Do i just pull the lines off with force or are there tools. My car is a Ford Expedition. This is the fuel filter on the chasis

No don’t force the lines: I’m not sure what style of coupler is on the truck but there is either a retaining clip to remove or you’ll need a tool that will slide into the coupler and release the tangs that are holding the line to the filter. Here’s what one style of disconnects look like There are all different types and styles all seem to work ok.
