How to fix an Intrigue

I have 2001 Oldsmoblie Intrigue. Actually its was given to my wife's daughter by her dad. He had it for some time and he's been investing money on it but decided to give it to my stepdaughter. My problem is none of the gauges for the fuel. engie coolant temp., odometer, speedometer, tachometer, and the radio don't work. Plus, my check engine light comes on. I've checked all the fuses and everything looks good at that end. So what step am I missing? Plz help. I would sure appreciate your help..... Thanks..Israel....

Take it to a major auto parts house and have the code read for the check engine light. Then post the code number back here and we can help you. Have you checked all fuses with a test light to see if they are good for the gauges?
