Hot wiring 1983 Ford Fairmont?
I lost the keys to a 1983 4-cylinder Ford Fairmont. I need to know how to install an on- and-off switch or just some way to hot wiring it. Thank you in advance!

Call a locksmith. You can buy a lock cylinder and replacement key for those. Not going to give you information on how to hot wire a car or rig your ignition system. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up on your threads when a problem is resolved.

Even in 83 its easier to change the lock cylinder than try to hotwire it. I know a trick with these, but am with DS as we don't give out info that can be used to jack someones ride and unfortunately we don't know you personally. You know how people online can be I'm sure. I doubt you'd be trying to go to jail for a 29 year old sedan, but stranger things happen in a country where people smoke bath salts and become zombies. I'm starting to see why the Mayans quit the calendar this year.
