Hello all! This is probably a really stupid question so I apologize in advance. I've been having trouble with my locks on my 2004 Saab 93. This morning while getting out of my car in my office parking lot, I pushed the little switch (?) inside the door frame to see if that had anything to do with the problem. My car is now locked open and because that switch is down, my car door won't even close, nevermind lock.

Here is the "switch," for lack of a better term.

That's the latch, not a switch. It's in closed position
Just stick a screwdriver or something in that hole behind the jaw and push it out while pulling the door handle like you're opening the door. It will pop open.

Thank you so much! You're a genius! I knew it was something along those lines but I was just trying to pry it open with a screwdriver. I didn't think to try the handle while doing it.

Hahaha........... that would be like trying to pry the door open without using the door handle. It's not going to happen.
