2004 Ford Focus Manual Transmission

My car won't start. The battery is fine, but I kicked something near the clutch and now it's dangling and the car won't start anymore. The thing dangling is attached to some wires. I'm not sure where it was attached to, but near the clutch pedal there is something that the clutch pedal pushes in but a spring and a little metal piece came out of it! It doesn't seem like anything is broken, but just that something snapped off and I don't know where to attach it again! Please I need help!
