My heated seats aren’t working on a Lexus rx350 2010. Obviously it could be a lot of things, but, wondering just as much as to what it most likely isn’t, considering that…
- the indicator lights aren’t lighting up? -The fuses are good.
The dream would be if it’s most likely the switch (that has had plenty of spills seep into it), and I could replace that, and hope that that’ll do it?!

If the light isn't lighting up it's most likely the fuse but all you have to do is test for power on the violet wire with the key on.

It is powered by fuse ECU-IG1 3 10A

Thanks Hammertime, is this violet wire at the switch?
Both left and right fuses look flawless. Is there still a chance they are no good? Would the indicator lights be separate (left/right) in relation to the fuses being blown?
What would be the next assumption if the issue isn’t at the fuses box?

There are 3 fuses for the system. The left and right are after the switch. The one I gave you powers the switch.

You can't just look at a fuse. You have to use a test light and test for power at both ends of the fuse.

Yes, the violet wire at the switch. I'm betting the fuse is blown.

Ok thanks. Where is the 3rd fuse located?

This is the fuse diagram
Everything else seems to have a lot of other things attached. Seat heater is mentioned a couple of times, in 6 and 21. But there’s aren’t any issues with anything else on those fuses. Still worth checking out those fuses? Or am I missing something?

By that diagram I'M NOT SUSCRIBING TO showed position 36 and 37 for right and left. Both out back to first one.
Check power already said with a test light without even removing fuses WHEN you enable the items. If you don't know how I'll explain,
Tom

OK, you're making this harder than it needs to be. I gave you the correct fuse in the first post which is #6 in that diagram.
That is the only fuse you need to be concerned with right now.

If that fuse is good, then you are back to testing power into the switch as I also suggested in the first post.

You need a test light for any of this and if you don't have one, we are all wasting our time here.

Sorry I didn’t mean to be difficult, while waiting to pick up a test light I was just curious as to how anything else on that fuse could be working (mirrors/moonroof/wipers/washer) with a busted fuse.
Anyhow, after testing the fuses I went to find and test the violet wire and found the switch diconnected! 🤦‍♂️
Whether it fell out or the original owner didn’t like an accidentally hot tush I’ll never know. But my bum is happy, thanks for you detailed and expert advice.
Cheers

I've owned 6 RX's and that exact same thing happened to the one I'm driving now. That's why that was my starting point.

Glad you got it fixed. Closing this question now.
