Gasoline smell when parked in garage Sign In

2005 Buick Le Sabre gas smell when parked in garage. Seems to happen about 5 hours after it has been in the garage then there is a heavy smell of gasoline permiating from the car. So bad I can smell it in the house. Now have to park car outside. After having it checked this morning at an auto repair shop, they can't find anything.Desperate for any answers to this problem The car has 125,000 miles

You can bet there is a leak somewhere. they just aren't looking in the right place.
It could be anywhere from the tank connection, all the way up the lines to one of the injectors or fuel rail leaking. You will have to look for it with the engine running so the system is under pressure.
