Found a leak Sign In

My car is a Hyundai Elantra 2013 GLS, today after coming out of walmart I found a puddle underneath my car, and the line it was leaking from, I am wondering what it is/is something wrong?

Facing the car it is located by the left wheel (passenger side).

Only had the car for a few months.

That looks like just the AC drain. Nothing to worry about. You must have had the AC on unless that is coolant coming out of it and it that case would be a leaking heater core..

Your probably right, I checked the fluid coming out, no smell and it was cool to the touch and I was running the A/C for a few hours, but just in case does Coolant have any smell too it?

Not much of a smell but a sweet taste if you touch it to your tongue. If it was cool, it was likely condensation from the AC.

Re: Found a leak Sign In

johnjaxs: If worried about a condensate (water) drain for A/C catch some and it should dry like water. If oily or antifreeze it would show or not dry on like paper or a paper towel.

Antifreeze would stink up inside of car and if oil A/C oil wouldn't be working for long so it's probably nothing to worry about,
