Hi everyone Am new here i wanted to post my own thread/question. Im having a problem with my 2002 1.8 diesel ford focus. When i drive it for 15 mins the engine heats up ok, But the heating inside the car is pretty much cold, Also when i check the water reservoir the water in it is cold. What could the prob be. I dont think ive blown a head gasket, checked oil and checked water to see is the water oily. Anyone have any idea???

Thermostat stuck open or missing is one culprit. Heater core clogged up, water valve not allowing circulation, or heater blend door problem are some others. Blown head gasket would cause overheating. Feel the heater hoses. Are they hot? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
