Ford Sierra issues Sign In

Okay hehehe, this one is about another car i own, a Ford Sierra that my grandpa gave me as a christmas present but im having some issues with it, first of all it starts with difficulty, the engine cranks and everything but im having a hard time to get it started when its cold (although i think this is normal with engines that have carburetor instead of fuel injection systems), but the good thing is that it starts hehehe, and i have a good idle until i hit the gas pedal.. it starts to bog down and smell gasoline, then at like 2000 RPM the engine sounds all good (maybe the fuel/air mix isnt good?), however its weird because that doesnt happen if i slowly push the gas pedal, if i give it a quick push it bogs, another thing is that when im driving it and im about to takeoff the engine bogs down and wants to die, but magically if i not push the gas pedal it stabilizes and maintains idle, then when im in home and open the hood i feel excessive heat but in the thermostat on the instrument panel says "all good to go" hehehe, what could be the source of muffler backfire explosions, and why the engine of my car wants to die right after i want to takeoff?, why is my car overheating?, and finally what could i do about it?, again, as i said on my previous post with the toyota 4runner, i want to stay away from my local mechanics as they dont care to get the job done as it should be, i know about how and engine work and what it needs to work, as i work regularly with small scale engines (nitro engines on my helicopter and my monster truck) they work almost with the same principles as the real scale engines.. Thank you for any input you can give me to solve my issues, they are greatly appreciated :D

Here are some pics of my car and the engine.. as i dont know whats the exact year of my car i thought it would be great if you can see it on some pictures, the only thing i know is that it has a V6 engine hehehe, and its a ford sierra, i think its a 1986 sierra.. im not sure.

It doesnt count mileage too and well.. because of that i cant give you a precise mileage of the vehicle, it marks 64 thousand kilometers

P.S: I forgot to mention that.. i dont know why this car is draining the battery, if i leave it for like 2 and a half weeks sitting on the garage the battery just drains out, even though the battery is new, its a duncan 700. and i checked spark plugs and they work fine, spark plugs wires too, when the engine its cold and i suddenly accelerate when it reaches 1200 rpms it bogs, then at 2000 its all fine. Hope this info help you to determine what is happening.
