Been told its prob the cable. also been told it might be digital. I have No idea where to start. I Have a 1994 mod diesal 5 door fiesta. Can any one tell me how i find out if the speedo is digital or cable. Can anyone tell me how i get it working again? You can look and see for yourself for a fairly heavy cable coming from trans thru firewall that aims at your dash. They can break and generally need to be replaced from the dash board end. This shouldn't be that hard to figure out and a good shop should know at a glance what is what about this. They make universal cables that are cut and a new end (square) crimped on for the dash end. If you take this on yourself it's a good place to "measure twice and cut once."
