Focus down on power pt 2 Sign In

My focus had jumped timing a while back and I got a bunch of help from the mechanics on here.
first I want to say thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.
I had the belt replaced and also replaced the cat I gutted when I thought it was the exhaust.
The problem I continue to have is gas milage and a bit of power missing.
Prior to the jump, I would get about 330 miles out of a tank befrore the warning light would come on. Now I only get to about 290 miles when the light will come on. This is only a bit better than when I was driving it during the jump. I think i was getting between 260-270 on a tank.
On the hwy, if I need to get on it to get around someone, the motor doesn't quite have the pep it did before the jump.
In the morning when I start it, the motor vibrates like crazy and is still very loud, like if the exhaust was unhooked or it was loose form one of the mounts.
What I am wondering is if maybe the timing isn't qiute set right, or if maybe I had done something to the pistons or rings or maybe fouled a plug or something. I can pull the plugs tomorrow and check that.
I would assume that if the belt was replaced and the timing reset, everything should go back to normal, right?
I can't figure out how I am still way down on the milage per tank?

Take a vacuum reading and post the results. It almost sounds like one of the cams is a tooth off...

Who did the belt? Is the SES light on or has been on?

I just want to add one comment to something you said..............

If you continue to drive that car until the fuel light comes on, you will be replacing fuel pumps quite often.
