Fluid on floor in car

the floor of moms car keeps getting soaked and i checked the heater core connects and they r secure.. is there anything else that could explain why the floor is getting so wet?

the heater core connections can be fine but you will leak through the heater core. Pressure check the system to see that its coolant and not a leaking windshield.

If the pressure test checks out ok, check the a/c drain tube to see if it's clogged. When you have the heat on defrost, the compressor clutch cycles and condensation is still produced and has to drain.
If all tests good and you feel the leak is from an external source, you can try taking the car through the car wash to see where the water comes in from.
