Electrical problem

2006 gmc 2500 HD 6.0 engine 240000 miles
Went to truck one morning and blower motor was blowing on hi i had the keys in my pocket. I removed the plug in to the blower and plugged it back in and it was fine for a while, but it has been doing it on and off for about m6 months. Anyone have any ideas?

Likely bad blower motor resister. If it's Auto Temp Control, it will be a module mounted in place of it but still same problem.
