I took it to the dealer, they cleaned the EGR valve but said it needed to be replaced. I am not having any problems with the car yet - but how long do I have before I do if I don't take immediate action? I do not want to fork over $350 right now. Can I wait until after the holidays? Are you interested in doing this yourself? He is knowledgable with cars. How do I go about getting instructions on how to do it? Most have a vacuum hose and a wiring plug and just two nuts or bolts to attach it. A new gasket would be in order too. I'd bet it's less than $100 bucks and a ten minute job.
