The problem is on a 2002, Dodge truck, 1500, 5.9, 135,500. The Problem, I disconnected the battery cable from the chassis by mistake, now all the lights come on and stay on by themselves when I start the truck, but neither the brake lights nor the directional lights work and I cannot switch the headlights from regular setting to bright setting. I tried to disconnect and reconnect the cables but it did not correct the problem, I now the problem has to be in the connection, but I just don’t know what else to do. Have you ever run into this problem? Do you know how to correct this problem? Or, can you direct me to someone that does? Other that an expensive car repair shop.

Did you reinstall ground cable exactly as it was before? If so Try unplugging the headlamp switch There was a few bulletins on the subject in past due to switch failure. LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH
