Dash lights Sign In

Hi all, I need some help. The dash lights on 1/2 of my panel are out on my 98 ford explorer. How do you change the bulbs short of taking out the whole dash. Thanks, Randy

Re: Dash lights Sign In

On some of those you can contort around while standing on you head & reach the lights but usually the cluster has to come. If there is a break in the printed circuit, then the cluster would need to be replaced.....

I know on some older model cars you could just get the printed circuit when they were available but I'm not sure on your model........Hopefully just some bad bulbs...

These are instructions for installing aftermarket gages . Just follow the section concerning the instrument panel . http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/...threadid=46290
