Cuts in 1995 mustang gas tank

Hey all. I recently purchased a 1995 mustang, and so far love it! However i was taking a look at the gas tank this evening and noticed what I believe to be 4 cuts in the gas tank. There is some gasoline around them, and it drips minorly, although it still seems to hold gas quite well. From the pictures inculded below, can anyone tell me if a gasoline repair kit will fix this? Thanks [:) picture 1: http://i.imgur.com/I5lhV.jpg Picture 2: http://i.imgur.com/hkbmB.jpg

What you're looking at is a shield around the gas tank but it's still showing a leak and you need to get to the bottom of that ASAP. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
