Code PO430 on 03 'ford taurus

I have a 2003 ford taurus the code that comes up is po430 I have cleared the code and it does not come back on for a while but it does come back on i am woundering what it is that would most likely make this come on ''? would it be the O2 sensor or a pluged Cat ?  thanks

It's going to be a bad Cat but not because it's plugged. it just chemically, is not doing it's job any more.

What sucks is it comes with two cats on it but only one is bad but to replace the one you have to replace both and that cost 400.00 but i guess thats cheaper then a new motor ''thanks for your help

That's cheap. the dealer gets a lot more than the exhaust shops.
