Clio unlocking itself Sign In

I got up this morning to find my car unlocked (and someone had been in it) & was pretty sue I hadn't left it unlocked the night before. I've just gone out to find it unlocked again. Any idea why this would be happening? Usually when I unlock it, if I don't open a door within 30 seconds it will re-lock itself.

It's a Renault Clio (automatic) year 2004

Do you fully know what the car is supposed to do and if there are settings such that you don't lock yourself out or anything?

BTW - This site is US based so probably nobody would know for sure on if this could be normal or not. I've owned over tons of years cars that locked when in DRIVE and unlocked when it PARK automatically whether you liked that or not! Other locks when put in drive unless you defeat it to stay unlocked.

Assorted other reasons might include another person's car can unlock yours while unlocking theirs?? Not a likely as once but possible.

In short are you sure it's not just a setting? I'd be mad as all get out if my vehicle locked itself without me assertively doing it on purpose or otherwise.

Try this: Park elsewhere if you can and see if you find it unlocked again to rule out something as silly as someone else's car remote is doing it?

If a real problem you still have to know what features it has if anything. It's common in the US car's to have back doors not open by handle from inside and child-proof power windows such that children don't play with them type things only the driver,
