Clanking noise coming from car Sign In

I have a 2096 chevy aveo. Several months ago I started intermittently hearing a noise. Recently I have started to hear it frequently. It happens at different times but tends to happen most when idling. At times it seems to be coming from the front lower drivers side. Other times it seems it is coming from the engine area.

I recently had an oil change done and ask the mechanic to see if he could hear the noise and check it out. He stated that my oil was a little low and that that was causing the noise but it has been several weeks and the noise is still continuing.

I recorded a video of the noise can someone tell me what they think might be causing the noise. Below is the video link.

Tough guessing noises just anyway vs in person.
First is it seem like a real problem with engine valvetrain I would just describe that a lighter engine single knock sound would point to that is the best "guess" I personally can do.
It's NOT GOOD just IMO with 9 seconds of a car with hood closed is a wild disadvantage at even guessing.
A tech already had it in person said low oil was the cause we nor you know how to define "little low" vs dangerously low enough for certain engine damage over that.
Best I can do for a guess on just that much.
The more important note is why the heck are you still running this for "several weeks" somehow do you think it's going to heal itself? Real problems don't come and go so much.
IDK? I would help a little on a forum to know year and miles on this at least fix that type please.

Most important and probably too late is to find out without guessing just what it really is before you are buying another engine and again IMO think you are going to if you want this car anymore,

Tom
