2004 Saturn L300 2.2L sedan Sometimes when I'm at a stop the car will sputter and not move when I attempt to accelerate. It only seems to do it within the first 30 min of driving and occurs at random times. Usually it only occurs once and restarting the car corrects the issue. It began shortly after changing the trans fluid about a year ago and I also recently changed the spark plugs. I don't have a check engine light on, but I do have an OBD device to check data. I am unsure what to look for. I have seen other posts saying it could be a temp sensor, gasket, or the fuel pump. What do you guys think?

Does your scan tool access the manufactures side of the PCM or is it just an OBD2 code reader? What is the long and short term fuel trim doing when the problem occurs? If you can access the manufacture side of the PCM with your tool, what do the misfire counts look like? What is the fuel pressure when the problem is occurring? If you can provide a snapshot of the engine data while the problem is occurring, maybe a clue will be in the data stream. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
