Get the codes pulled to see which cyl is missing. I'm not sure what you meant by "opening one of the head gaskets" I'm guessing you pulled a wire out of one of the plug tubes & it had oil in it.If thats the case then that wire is shot & the tube seals & v/c gasket need to be replaced as well... So like W2O said.........sounds like you need to be changing out some ign parts.
