CYLINDER 3 MISFIRE NEED HELP ASAP	Sign In

I was on the way to my cousins house when my check engine started to flash i finally arrived and checked the codes and there were two one of them was p0303 which is cylindee 3 misfire and the other code is for a mass airflow sensor and the purge valve needed to be replaced. would replacing the mass air flow sensor and purge valve fix the misfire on cylinder 3 . The codes were the following p0303 p0135 p0441 p0174 p0171

No. those codes did not say to replace those or any parts. The codes merely tell you there is an issue with the system that needs to be further diagnosed.

This can be a simple as a tear in the intake snorkel or a hose left disconnected.

If you haven't changed the spark plugs in a while...That would be a good place to start...

Change the plugs (with OE ones) and move the number 3 coil to a different cyl.....

Make a note of all the codes, then clear them and drive the car and see what comes back....If it's still running bad and a code comes up on the cyl you put the #3 coil on....then the coil is bad.....If a P0303 comes back then you have the same problem on #3 and would need to test further....
