Buying a new car??

So im looking into buying a used car and 2 of the 4 cylinders are not firing iv been told hes thinks its the ECU needs replacing the reson im looking into buying the car he only wants £100 for it, its a fiat punto 2004 he said he's had it at the garage and thats what he's been told, iv also been told its had had new Has had a new cylinder pack new battery & ignition checked. Latest electrical specialist tested cylinders and exchanged cylinder leads around & said 2 not working. How dose this sound to people and if its not the ECU what else could it be thanks for any help

If it was an easy repair why has seller not done it? - the increased sale price would cover expense.

I agree. Run away. If he really knew what was wrong with it he would have fixed it instead of discounting it that heavily.
