Hello my vechicle is a 1995 Olds Aurora. Everytime I leave anything on such as lights,radio or leave trunk open for a very short time my battery goes dead. I am not sure if it is the battery or alternator and how do I check to find out. Thanks Jewels

How long do you call a short time?
A few minutes or an hour?
I would Get the battery tested.

Everything starts with a battery test. Have it charged and tested and go from there.

Just a few minutes for instance I ran into the gas station( it was raining) and left my lights on for that short of a time and it was dead. Thanks
