99 civic sir Sign In

hey i have a 1999 civic sir and lately there is just an overall loss of power in the lower and mid range rpm's, the compression is great but im not exacly sure what else to check can you help lol thks

Whens the last time you did a good tune up ........Plugs , wires , fuel filter , air filter, run some inj cleaner for a couple of tanks. Check timing if able.

plugs are new just got a new distibutor, timing belt seems right. i could put some injector cleaner ya. its almost like its starts to bog down maybe exaust?

Fuel filter ? You can have an exhaust shiop do backpressure test for a nominal fee.

Im not just being stupid, seriously his car was sluggish and all we had to do was change the oil and replace the other car fluids and his car worked great afterward.

Over 15 grand in tools PLUS scanner , scope and a chest full of various gages .And all I needed was a freakin FILTER WRENCH ! Where's my Snap-off guy?
