I really need some help here. I've had three mechanics look at my vehicle and NONE of them have been able to fix my problem. I have a 99 Plymouth Breeze (2.0 I think) that drives FINE for about 15-20 minutes then the engine starts sputtering? if that is a good word.. When I try to accelerate at this time it acts as if it CAN'T go faster, it tries and sputters I guess and if I slow down to a stop during this time sometimes the vehicle will stall out. It's throwing codes P0351 and P1391. I've replaced the primary ignition coil (NEW) as well as a back-up ECM that I got from the previous owner of the vehicle (my girls stepfather - mechanic of 20 yrs + that lives out of state so he hasn't been able to look at vehicle - point is, I know the ECM is fine). I am completely baffled as to why three different mechanics have been unable to fix my problem. I'm stumped. I was told by the most recent mechanic that the crank sensor and cam sensor MUST be replaced at the same time or there could be problems. I have receipts for a crank sensor and cam sensor back in 2010 - one of the receipts is for april and the other is for may though. If one of the sensors were put in before the 2nd, would replacing both fix the problem? I'm just lost I'm looking for some fix I have a small child I must be able to transport to Dr's appointments as well as getting myself to work. Any help would be appreciated.. I also had the EGR valve replaced in the past year. The vehicle did have an oil leak for the longest but one of the mechanics that looked at it to fix the problem I have listed now tightened something and it appears not to be leaking. I am lost. I seriously need some help or some suggestions or something.
