'99 Malibu randomly cuts out

I recently purchased a 99 Malibu 2.4L 170k miles and shortly afterwards it started shutting doown on me at random times after driving for a while. It seems to be somewhat related to heat as it only does it after the engine is hot and it always starts back up after left sitting for a while. I used to be able to drive atleast 100 miles or so a day on it befor it started acting up but now its getting to be much less and now if left sitting in idle it will stall out after 10 or so minutes. It will also die out while driving at highway speeds now. So far I have changed the ignition control module, Crankshaft position sensor, and O2 sensor. Changing the CPS did get rid of what I can best describe as a pulsating idle that I would get when slowing down. What other components are there that could fail from heat but then work ok after cooling back down. My next guess of what to try is the coil packs but would really appreciate any help to keep from wasting more money on things that aren't the issue. Thanks
